The Telegraph reports today about a US teen who has been arrested on animal cruelty charges.

The 19 year old from Philadelphia wrapped a cat in duct tape, put her in a plastic bag and dumped her in his neighbour's garden.

Unfortunately violence and negligence towards animals and especially cats is nothing new.

This summer the Battersea Dogs and Cats home, Battersea, London, was appealing to all cat lovers to come forward and give a cat a home, as they were running out of space.
